Well-designed spaces for little explorers
Our Floraville child care centre offers a homely and welcoming environment for your child. Our smaller size allows educators to get to know the children in each room. Inside, you’ll find open and spacious rooms with leading-edge, play-based educational programs and tools to support each child’s development.
Our natural outdoor play areas encourage free play with water play, sandpits, slide, climbing wall, veggie garden and more. We also share our large, natural outdoor area among all ages, giving siblings of different ages the opportunity to play together, which is perfect for your child to learn and grow.
Dedicated team of educators
At Kindy Patch Floraville child care centre, we are passionate about fostering encouragement and kindness! Our longstanding educators create an inclusive, educational, and safe environment that feels like a home away from home. The highly trained team of long-standing educators are hand-picked to support the children and their learning. Fresh meals from inclusive menus
Children can enjoy fresh, healthy and nutritious meals prepared by our qualified chef, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack in the evenings. We cater to all dietary requirements.
High-quality educational programs
Our approved educational program, Leading-edge, is a play-based educational program that supports your child’s development at every stage. This program delivers critical learning experiences and is enhanced with smartboard technology to ensure children aged three to five years are prepared for the next step in their early learning adventure.
Our Floraville child care centre proudly offers a preschool program taught by degree-qualified teachers to ensure your child is supported for their transition to school every step of the way. With a focus on language, literacy, numeracy, social skills and more, we’ll ensure your child is ready for school.
We believe that every child is unique and will thrive in an environment that focuses on personalised, age-specific learning and play. Our experienced educators deliver excellence in early education via programs that are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. Their focus is on helping your child develop the foundations for a positive, lifelong learning experience.
We have special guests come into the centre to share their knowledge with children, such as librarians, emergency service workers, and animal experiences. The children can also take part in outings to build their sense of community to places such as local aged care facilities, local primary schools, parks and shops.

Meet the centre manager
Hi, my name is Dominique Letoga. I have been working in child care and early education for 13 years. I hold a Diploma in Children’s Services and currently studying Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
Developing relationships with our families is my favourite part of my role at the child care centre. I believe one of the most important things as an early childhood educator and centre manager, is establishing a sense of belonging for each child and their families, and to create a loving community.
I always wanted to support the learning of our future leaders. I believe it is important to empower children with knowledge and a strong sense of identity from a young age to set them up for their future. I also believe that as adults, we can learn so much from children and their ideas.
As the centre manager, my objective is to empower the educator team to build a strong focus on play and interest-based learning environment for the children and to respond to individual children’s needs. In a supportive learning environment, children build meaningful connections with others and create a strong sense of identity.
Our educators are passionate, dedicated and highly knowledgeable in early childhood education. We have a strong focus on family involvement in our child care centre and encourage families to share their special moments with us.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Kindy Patch family. Feel free to drop us a line if you have any questions about the child care centre.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from a centre tour?
A centre tour is a convenient way to experience the centre of your choice and meet with our qualified educators at a time suitable to your family schedule. Kindy Patch also offers the virtual tour option in all our centres. Click here to book a tour online.
On the day of the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to observe practices and interactions within the centre environment. You’ll be able to see all the rooms and playgrounds, ask the team members any questions you have in mind, and get all the information you need to make the best decision for your child.
Do I have to be on a waitlist?
Kindy Patch’s Family Support team will add your child’s name to our waitlist if one of our centres is currently full in your child’s age group. We will then contact you as soon as a place becomes available.
We also do monthly check-ins to review the availability, and you will receive a text message confirming if you’re still happy to remain on the waitlist each month. If you would like to get an update at any point, you’re welcome to reach out on our Web Chat or give us a call.
Our Family Support team can also help you find more G8 early learning centres near you, with the same offerings at the Kindy Patch centre you are interested in that have immediate availability.
What can I do to help my child prepare for starting care?
It’s common for a child to experience separation anxiety when they first start child care. When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care centre together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home.

What should I pack my child for their first day?
Most of our Kindy Patch care and early education centres offer the following:
- Nappies and wipes
- Sunscreen and hats
- Nutritious meals prepared by our in-house cook
Some centres also provide sheets and formula, so you may not need to remember to pack them.
For nursery children, be sure to bring: nappy rash cream, dummies, bottles and teats, comfort toys or blankets, three spare outfits, spare socks and a plastic bag for wet clothes.
For toddlers and preschool or kindergarten-aged children, it’s best to bring: spare underwear, water bottle or sippy cup, sun hat, closed-toe shoes, two spare outfits, spare socks and a plastic bag for wet clothes.
Plus anything else your individual child may need, such as breast milk, a sleeping bag, a comforter or medication.
It’s best to speak to your centre of choice for a full list of everything included.
How do I get updates on my child's day?
Kindy Patch uses Xplor Home as our family communication app. It is the best and easiest way to keep track of your child’s day. After you enrol your child with the centre, you can utilise Xplor Home to book child care days, manage your account, receive the photographs that capture your child’s learning, learn about your child’s progress, as well as keep up-to-date with upcoming centre events and important information.
What if my child gets sick?
If your child shows signs of an infectious illness when they arrive at the centre or becomes sick during the day, you may be notified that you need to make alternative arrangements or pick up your child from the centre, and keep them home until they are no longer infectious. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Kindy Patch is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children.
Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), families are allowed 42 absence days per child, per financial year. These can be taken for any reason, including public holidays and when children are sick, without the need for families to provide documentation.
