Welcome to Kindy Patch Chelsea!
We are a full-service childcare centre that operates between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:30 pm to suit your busy schedule. Our team of qualified educators work hard to deliver an early education program which follows the nationally recognised Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Our service is fully catered, offering breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, to ensure that your child is well-fed with nutritious meals to get them through the day!
Our Bachelor Qualified Teacher helps lead our Victorian Government Supported Kindergarten Program to ensure that your child learns through play via many opportunities in early education. We also provide incursions and excursions to introduce your child to all forms of exciting events including yoga, cooking, dance, gardening activities and more! We have a Doctor visit every Tuesday to learn more about our bodies as well as keep us healthy!
The best early learning experience is accented by our exciting natural play environments which are purpose-built to give your child the opportunity to see how their world mixes with the natural one. Through our early learning program, we take the opportunity to showcase how your child interacts with the world around them and where they belong. We champion an Open Door Policy and welcome current and prospective families an equal opportunity to drop by and say hello! We’d love to hear from you!
I began my career in early childhood education and care in September 2000. I hold a Diploma in Children’s Services, Leadership and Business Management and a Certificate 3 in Training and Assessment.
My favourite part of working with children is walking into a room and being greeted by the children, with warm smiling faces. I love interacting with the children and helping them to accomplish challenges, develop skills and meet developmental milestones.
As an educator I strongly believe that it is my role to support child’s learning and to set developmentally appropriate expectations for each individual child.
All childcare centres, including our centre, use the foundation of play-based learning to guide our experiences every day. With access to a range of age-appropriate learning resources, trained educators, and new experiences among friends, we set children up to thrive in an environment that is dedicated to learning.
I am passionate to lead and support a strong team of educators to provide high quality education and care to all children and families within our community and I feel the most important values in my team members are passion, compassion, and support.
- Passion in supporting children’s education, growth and development.
- To have compassion for each other, the children and their families.
- To support each other in their professional development and training to further enhance their skills and knowledge required to educate and assist the children in their growth and development.
Our team understands just how important your children are to you and we ensure we take our responsibilities seriously. Kindy Patch Kids Centres has extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care.
I strive to provide support to all families. To provide a service that understands and supports the everyday challenges that come with raising children.
As a mum myself I understand the importance of building strong relationships between educators, children and families. I enjoy the opportunity to work with children and their families to achieve great outcomes together and see children meet their potential.

Reviews and Testimonials
See what some of our parents say about our centres:
“As a parent looking for care, I found this centre amazing for a first time parent. I walked through the centre and the educators all acknowledged my child with a smile and asking her name… Friends of mine also have their children there and cannot speak highly enough of the educators”
“Love Kindy Patch Chelsea. My son has been in baby, toddlers and pre-kinder rooms. Lovely staff, very supportive and caring. Good atmosphere and great learning environment. They only close during public holidays which helps working parents, I know some centres close for 2-3 weeks over Xmas. Very warm inside during winter, I think it makes a huge difference for kids not getting sick. My son learns so much there and staff were very supportive with potty training, made transition to undies easy. No TV there and they have a cook who prepares fresh meals, they accommodate for kids with allergies too. We couldn’t be more grateful and thankful for this centre and all staff working there are amazing! My transition back to work from maternity leave was so easy thanks to Kindy Patch Chelsea team.”
“I have been happy with the care of my son at Kindy Patch Chelsea, especially since it has had the new management. He is an asthmatic and has allergies, which are handled without drama. Also I am updated with his day everyday when his little book comes home with him. I would recommend this daycare centre to someone looking for a place where they can trust their child will both have fun, and develop.”
“My son Cody started… as a baby of 6 months and is now in year 2 at school. The centre still has the same staff there who have been wonderful looking after Cody. He now goes to after school care and Holiday Programs and loves the centre’s Chess lessons each Tuesday. Can not recommend them highly enough.”
“Fantastic, long term staff that my 2 boys enjoy being with. They thoroughly enjoy the time they spend at Kindy Patch. It’s also really good being open to 6.30pm as I am not racing in traffic to get home from city. Great meals, brilliant developmental activities and communication with parents from staff and management. Couldn’t be happier leaving my boys in the services care. Both boys attend 3 days per week in toddler and pre kinder room.”
