More support for families in 2026
Starting January 2026, the Australian Government will introduce the 3 Day Guarantee, making child care more accessible for families who don’t meet the usual Child Care Subsidy (CCS) activity test.
Eligible families will receive up to 72 subsidised hours per fortnight, approx. three days per week in most centres.
This means:
- More time for your child to learn, play and grow
- More flexibility and support for you
- More affordable care for more families
